PEDRO GUSTAVO R. TEIXEIRA

Dr. Pedro Teixeira is a Professor of Surgery and Division Chief of Vascular Surgery at the University of Texas at Austin, Dell Medical School. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery, holding certifications in General Surgery, Vascular Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.
Throughout his career, Dr. Teixeira has focused on the intersection of Trauma Surgery and Vascular Surgery, developing innovative principles of hemorrhage control, resuscitation strategies, and minimally invasive techniques to improve outcomes for injured patients.
