PANAGIOTIS KITROU
Panagiotis M. Kitrou MD, MSc, PhD, EBIR, FCIRSE is Associate Professor in Interventional Radiology from Patras University Hospital, Greece. His focus is on the endovascular management of vascular access, peripheral arterial disease, and oncology.
He has published more than 80 articles in peer review journals and was awarded twice with the Editor’s Award for Distinguished Clinical Study in Vascular and Interventional Radiology (2016, 2018) from JVIR.
He has given more than 300 lectures in national and international congresses and meetings. Prof. Kitrou has been involved in several multi-center, multi-national studies. He is a tutor for experimental and
clinical workshops held in Patras Interventional Radiology Training Center.
He is the coordinator of the CIRSE’s SOP for Vascular Access and the co-chair of the ESVS Vascular Access Guidelines. He is a co-director of the EVA (Endo Vascular Access) Meeting, a meeting focusing on the endovascular management of dialysis vascular access.
