currently an Emeritus Professor in the Cerebral Haemodynamics in Ageing and Stroke Medicine
(CHiASM) group of the Department of Cardiovascular Sciences, School of Medicine, University of
Leicester, UK. His main research interests are the physiology of cerebral blood regulation and its
disturbances in clinical conditions such as ischaemic stroke and intracerebral haemorrhage.
